Limping Tiger , Soaring Dragon

Since time immoral , India and China have been neighbors with cordial relations. There has been a noticeable period of healthy trade , exchange of  scholars , diplomats , artifacts and religious beliefs among many other things. Kung-fu and Karate , famous all over the world as martial arts created and perfected in the realms of Chinese masters has it’s roots in the ancient martial arts practiced in south India called Kalaripayattu.

“Love Thy Neighbor” is a motto rarely followed by any entity sincerely and to its bestest. But when applied to India , no one can be better at it then our motherland. Even after undergoing years and years of foreign rule and colonialism , it stood hard on its moral ground and never invaded any country for its gain. It even helped its neighbor in distress , Bangladesh , to gain freedom from Pakistan. It’s neighbors always find a helping hand in their time of need without any selfish  terms and conditions applied.

It’s sad to say that same can not be said for China. The dragon in its all prime has showed how a country should run efficiently and have maximum productivity but has lost all it’s morality and what it stood for along the way. It’s neighbors fear the worst from it. China knows only how to Invade , conquer and destroy . Tibet is one such example. Arunachal and Aksai Chin might be too in future if Dragon gets its way with it.

It’s is a real shame that Indian Military and Parliament are letting China get way with all the disrespect it  continues to show toward Indian Military , constitution and authority. After the 1962 Bhārat-Chīn Yuddh , India had seldom stood its ground against China. The defeat it faced was humiliating , but it was due to the circumstances and wrong decisions taken by then Politicians and military strategists. Why it continues to limp when it can growl and take the skin off the Dragons back is a question  that lingers in the mind of Indians all over. No other country would have stood such trespassing into its territory and what is even worse is that China even declared parts of India as it’s own in its map to the whole world and all Indian Legislature did was to moan on it.

Until an Iron hand is dealt to them , Chinese won’t understand what is means to “Mind Your Own Business” or “To Stay in one’s Boundaries” . Increasing the military presence in disputed areas tenfold and creating a permanent base and heavily armed presence along the Johnson and McMahon lines to discourage  the constant trespassing of Chinese troops into Indian villages across the border  are some suitable actions that Indian Army could take. But this possible only when Indian army grows a pair , even a backbone , as it appears it has none. Recent beheading of Indian military personnel by Pakistani Army , a brother in arms of China , has shown that the might of the Tiger’s Claws has rusted to nothingness and today’s  military is just a tool of Indian Legislature and Bureaucrats.

Time has come when strong steps should be taken by the Indian Military , instead of diplomatic retreats and moaning around. Only way to redemption now is to Fight back , Oppress the oppressor and take back what is right fully India’s. Until the above is achieved , no true patriotic citizen of India will look at it’s Legislature and its Military in the same way and respect as it used to be in the past.
